OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The state lottery commission in increasing the incentives to stores that will sell lottery tickets in an effort to get more outlets for the tickets.
Stores were already promised 6 percent of each lottery ticket sold. Now they'll get an additional three-fourths of 1 percent of each winning ticket they cash.
Lottery director Jim Scroggins says he's hoping the additional incentive will lead to more stores signing up as ticket sellers and ticket cashers.
Scratch-off lottery tickets are to go on sale next month.
