Volume 4 of Will Rogers' papers is published

CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) -- The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents received Volume Four of "The Papers of Will Rogers" Tuesday.

The papers -- published by the University of Oklahoma Press -- include correspondence, business papers and speech drafts and were edited by Steve Gragert, the archivest-historian at the Will Rogers Museum, and Doctor Jane Johannson of the RSU faculty.

Volumes One through Three chronicled writings of Rogers from birth through July 1915. Volume Four includes correspondence from several well-known people of the era including Henry Ford, Theodore Roosevelt, Florenz Ziegfeld and Calvin Coolidge.

A fifth volume currently is being edited.
