OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A flag honoring missing servicemen and woman in southeast Asia is flying over the Oklahoma state Capitol this week.

Governor Brad Henry is ordering the flag of the National League of Families of American Prisoners and Missing in Southeast Asia flown in flag plaza through Friday. The POW/MIA flag was established to honor American prisoners of war and those missing in action.

More than 88,000 Americans remain missing from the Vietnam and Korean wars, World War Two and the Cold War era. The Department of Veterans Affairs estimates about 40 Oklahomans are unaccounted for in Vietnam.
