One person is hospitalized after being run over by the vehicle he was riding in.

The accident happened about 9:30PM Sunday in the 7400 block of East 79th Street. Tulsa Police say a passenger in a Jeep tried to ride outside the vehicle as it was moving.

The victim climbed out of the jeep, slipped, caught his foot in the rear tire and was run over.

The victim was taken at an area hospital with a head injury. We don't have his condition.
