OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- One of the co-stars of a new movie that's opening Friday is a 13-year-old Edmond teen.

Blake Garrett plays the role of "Plug" in "How to Eat Fried Worms.

The movie is about an 11-year-old boy who gets picked on by the class bully and ends up betting he can eat ten worms in one day.

Garrett plays one of the bully's henchmen.

At 13 Garrett is a veteran after spending a-year-and-a-half on tour with a big purple dinosaur in "Barney's Colorful World" and he's in the "Barney's Colorful World" children's video.

He's now back in Edmond where he attends Summit Middle School and is hoping to play cornerback or safety on the football team and to be part of the wrestling team.
