Tulsa Police are investigating a series of armed robberies overnight, one of which sent one man to the hospital. And they may all be connected.
6 in the Morning reporter Jennifer Loren says Tulsa Police believe the same men are behind a string of armed robberies that left several people shaken early Wednesday.
Three attacks were reported within minutes of each other, all within a couple of miles of each other in east Tulsa.
It started at about 12:30 AM Wednesday near 33rd and Mingo. Tulsa Police say two men held a gun to a man's head in the parking lot of the Torchies nightclub and took his wallet. The victim was not hurt.
A short time later, a woman was robbed at gunpoint in a parking lot near 21st and Memorial. Again, there were two men and one held a gun to her head. They got away with cash.
Then just minutes after that, a man was confronted in the parking lot of the EconoLodge near 31st and Memorial. A suspect walked up behind the man and the victim saw the gun. He was shot in the arm when he batted the gun away.
He was taken to the hospital by a relative and will be okay. The suspect, however, got away.
