OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- About 150 members of a Bristow-based Oklahoma National Guard unit are preparing to head to Iraq.

The Oklahoma Military Department says the members of the 245th Engineer Company will be trained for about three months before being deployed to Iraq for one year.

A ceremony celebrating the troops' departure will be held September 7th at the Muskogee Civic Center.
