There are new plans in the works for the recognizable Meadow Gold sign that once had a home over midtown Tulsa.

The neon sign could soon be shining once again over Route 66. Fund raisers are working to finalize a donation of land that would allow the sign to be put back up less than one mile from its original location on 11th Street.

It was taken down in 2004 after decades in the same spot.
