DOUGHERTY, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities have recovered the body of a 41-year-old Oklahoma City man from a farm pond near Dougherty in Murray County.

The body of David Rockett was recovered about 6:30 Sunday morning by the Lake Patrol Division of the Department of Public Safety.

Authorities believe Rockett was in a canoe hunting on the private farm pond when he fell out of the canoe for an unknown reason and drowned.
