An Owasso neighborhood is battling some burglars. In one night, thieves broke into a number of cars, stole stereos, four-wheelers, even a pickup truck.

Imagine one victimâ€™s surprise when his stolen truck was in a crime that made the news.

News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright explains why the neighbors along North 143rd East Avenue in Owasso are now asking for your help.

Caleb Seal has his truck back three weeks after it was stolen. The license plate on it isn't his, plus he found another plate in the truck bed, that's why an Owasso Police officer stopped by. "If I can just get youâ€™re personal information and the date and time, then exactly what happened." What happened is while neighbors slept, thieves broke into cars, stole stereos, opened garage doors and took other valuables and made off with Caleb's truck.

It didnâ€™t use to have scratches, now it's got scrapes, scratches and dents all over it. "I just couldn't wait to see what kind of condition it was in. I expected a lot worse. I guess it did make the news Tuesday morning at the 4th and Yale Citgo."

Tulsa Police say someone drove Caleb's truck through a business and threw an ATM in the back. They later abandoned the truck and got away. He says the whole thing is very frustrating and aggravating. "All my neighbors are hard working families, young. They have nice things, but, they work for them too."

While Caleb does clean-up work and makes repairs to his truck, he hopes someone will turn in these criminals. He hopes someone saw this truck parked at a house the last few weeks. It's pretty unique with the checkered flag in the back window.

While he feels luckier than some, he still wants these criminals caught and punished.

Some of the items from Caleb's truck were found in the Westport community near Keystone Lake, so maybe the suspects were seen there also.
