Broken Arrow Police went knocking on doors Tuesday, armed with handcuffs and arrest warrants.

Members of the warrant task force teamed up to arrest suspects wanted for multiple crimes. The round up was a follow-up to last month's warrant amnesty program. Officers say the suspects had plenty of time to pay their fines during the city's warrant amnesty week.

At their first stop, police found a man, but he just returned from paying off all of his fines. Broken Arrow Police Sgt. Scott Bennett: "I think probably us coming out here yesterday trying to pick him up probably gave him a little more motivation to go down and do what he was suppose to do and satisfy the court clerk's office."

Broken Arrow Police did make their fifth arrest Tuesday, picking up a man with two outstanding warrants totaling several hundred dollars.

So far, arrested suspects have paid off more than $4,000 in warrants.
