The state court of Criminal Appeals has upheld the sentence for a man convicted of killing a Tulsa security guard during an attempted bank robbery.
21-year-old Christopher Lay was sentenced to a life without parole term for his role in the robbery.
Lay and his father, Wade were convicted of first degree murder for the 2004 fatal shooting of Kenneth Anderson during a gunfight at MidFirst Bank. Wade Lay received the death penalty.
