Fire crews responded to a house fire Saturday morning on north Cheyenne.

Neighbors told them the house was abandoned, but transients often stayed there.

Investigators believe a woman was in the house when the fire started, but witnesses say they saw her get out safely.

Firefighters couldn't find anyone else inside, and quickly got the fire under control. The biggest challenge for fire crews was keeping cool in the heat.
