ARPELAR, Okla. (AP) -- A New Mexico man is dead after crashing his pickup truck on US Highway 270 in Pittsburg County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Jason Lippis of Carlsbad was killed in the crash just before 4 PM Tuesday.

Troopers say Lippis was westbound when he lost control of the truck and it ran off the highway and rolled three times.

Lippis was pronounced dead on arrival at a McAlester hospital.
