Two Swans were welcomed to their new home Saturday at Tulsa's Swan Lake.
The News on 6 was there as the fowl were released from their cages and into the lake.
The Water Fowl Society has been working with the City of Tulsa to get the lake back in shape, there haven't been any swans at the park for two years. These swans will have the entire lake to themselves for about a year so they can become properly aquatinted to one-another then more swans will move in.
Kevin Doyle, Water Fowl Society: "The Key to keeping them here is making sure that the public doesn't try to feed the swans, we'll take care of them, we have food that is nutritional and will be available daily"
The City of Tulsa is relying on private donations to fund another project at the lake, they want to restore a fountain in time for Tulsa's Centennial celebration.
