A confessed killer serving a life sentence in Colorado says he's killed as many as 48 other people across the country, two of them Oklahomans.

53-year-old Robert Browne was convicted of killing a teenage girl. He says he committed the other murders from 1970 until his arrest in 1995.

Investigators believe Browne's claim is credible. They're working to cross-check his claims with evidence.

Tulsa homicide detectives went to Colorado to interview Browne. They tell the News on 6, Browneâ€™s stories do not match any Tulsa cold case homicides.
