For the second time this week, an Oklahoman has found a human skull. This time a dog in Lincoln County brought his owner a skull then led investigators to the rest of the skeleton.
The remains were found in a nearby home. Investigators believe the person may be a man who lived in the area.
The state Medical Examiner's Office is still working to make a positive ID on the remains.
Robert Lee with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation: "It's not an artifact. This is not something where we would be looking at an ancient grave that would be unearthed. I'm comfortable saying it's going to be more recent than that."
The OSBI is treating this case as a homicide for now.
