Tulsa Police alerted the Department of Human Services after they found four children in a Tulsa apartment early Wednesday morning.

An 18 year old woman, who lived at the apartment, called 911 after a five month old fell off the couch and suffered minor injuries. That's when Tulsa Police found three other young children in the apartment at 43rd and 109th East Avenue.

The 18-year-old is the roommate of the children's mother.

Tulsa Police say the apartment wasn't in bad shape, and they didn't think the children were in danger, but they alerted DHS anyway since the mother wasn't home.

The mother returned to the apartment as Tulsa Police were leaving.
