OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The race for state Labor Commissioner will be a rematch after Lloyd Fields captures the Democratic nomination.

Former state Representative Fields defeated state Senator Frank Shurden in the primary Tuesday, snaring more than 55 percent of the vote.

Fields will face incumbent Republican Brenda Reneau in the November 7th general election.

Reneau and Fields squared off for the same office in 2002.
