SPIRO, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities searched for witnesses Monday in the shooting death of a 42-year-old Spiro man.

The body of Thomas Chambers was found Sunday in an alley in downtown Spiro, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported. An autopsy conducted Monday determined Chambers died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
