Five Oklahoma attorneys have volunteered to help defend an Algerian detainee at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base.

They responded to a request by the American College of Trial Lawyers after the US Supreme Court gave detainees the right to representation.

Craig Hoster, a lawyer for Crowe and Dunlevy's Tulsa office says he feels a professional duty to undertake the case, even if it's unpopular.
