PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ ``Survivor'' winner Richard Hatch has been sent to a federal prison in Oklahoma.

Hatch is serving a 51-month prison sentence for failing to pay taxes on the one million dollar prize he won on the hit reality TV show.

Hatch had been staying at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility in Massachusetts. But several days ago, he arrived at the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City.

The facility is a common stopping place for prisoners transferring through the federal system, so it's not clear whether the reality TV star will actually serve out his term there.

Hatch's lawyer says he'd like to be close to family in Rhode Island or Florida.
