TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Oral Roberts baseball coach Rob Walton is the American Baseball Coaches Association Midwest Region Coach of the year.

Walton led the Golden Eagles to a 41-and-16 season and advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals.

ORU ended the season ranked 14th in the nation by Collegiate Baseball and won the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament for the ninth straight year.
