NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma women's basketball team is being honored for success in the classroom.

The Sooners are ranked 19th by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association 2005-2006 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll.

The award recognizes Division One teams with the highest grade point averages for the season based on nominations submitted by WBCA coaches.

OU's players have a combined GPA of 3.315.

South Dakota State is Number One in the academic ranking and Indiana State is second.
