Family and friends continue to hold out hope that a missing diver with Tulsa ties is still alive.

A candlelight vigil was held in Florida for 28-year old Ashley Mauldin. She disappeared a week ago while scuba diving with friends off the coast of New Port Richey. Ashley's community held their vigil Monday night.

Her parents, Charlotte Callis and Skip Martin went to Florida to help in the search for their only daughter. Charlotte Callis: â€œI need her. I need to put my arms around her. I need to hug her and kiss her and lay her to rest properly. I really do need to do that.â€

Her parents plan on returning to Oklahoma Tuesday.
