OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma City police are investigating the shooting death of a 14-year-old boy outside a convenience store on the city's northeast side.
Witnesses say DaWan Gilbreath was shot and killed Saturday after he exited the Happy Foods convenience store.
Sergeant Fernando Hernandez says no arrests have been made in the case and that the investigation is ongoing.
The victim's body fell in an empty parking space a few feet from the store's entrance, just a step past a yellow curb at the parking lot's edge.
The boy's aunt says DaWan would have been in the eighth grade at Hoover Middle School this fall.
