WASHINGTON (AP) _ The post office is set to release a new set of stamps and post cards honoring four baseball legends, including Oklahoma native Mickey Mantle.

Ceremonies will be tomorrow at Yankee Stadium for the new 39-cent stamps and 24-cent postal cards honoring Mantle, Roy Campanella, Hank Greenberg and Mel Ott.

Mantle grew up in Commerce before signing with the Yankees and his son Danny says Mantle would love being on a stamp.

Mantle played 18 years with the Yankees and when he retired he was second on the career home run list to Babe Ruth.

Greenberg was the first Jewish superstar in the Major Leagues and Campanella was the first black catcher while Ott was a star for the New York Giants and was the first National League player to hit 500 home runs.
