A Berryhill family is working to salvage what they can after a massive fire destroys their home in the 7300 block of West 41st Street.

Firefighters from Sand Springs and Berryhill worked to get that fire under control Tuesday afternoon. It's believed the fire started in the attic of the home and quickly spread to other rooms.

There's no word on a cause.

Firefighters were able to save some of the family's belongings, including family pictures. Fire victim: Katie Max: "I didn't care about anything else. Clothes, those are things I can get back. These are. You can't get these back."

Firefighters were also able so save several family pets.

The family is staying with relatives.
