Three Oklahoma kids have died this year when they were left in hot cars. That number almost went up Tuesday.

In addition to a case in Tulsa Tuesday afternoon, two Muskogee boys were rescued Monday afternoon after they were left in hot cars.

In both cases, the children were found in the heat of the day. Luckily, the kids were found in time, but there were some close calls.

Tulsa firefighters were called to a doctor's office near 23rd and Harvard Tuesday afternoon. They found a baby alone in an unlocked car. Firefighters say the baby felt hot and the child's face was red. Parents told Tulsa Police they are going through a hard time and were distracted. The baby is in fair condition at a local hospital.

Meanwhile in Muskogee, police say a woman left her two young boys in the car while she shopped at Wal-Mart.

A Muskogee Police officer was writing tickets when he spotted the two boys in a car parked in the fire lane. The windows were rolled down, but a 3-year old in the car was already passed out in the heat. Paramedics were able to revive the boy. The boy's mother, Mary Ann Harris, was paged in the store, and then arrested on a felony child neglect complaint.

The boys didn't know how long they had been in the car.

Experts say the temperatures inside a car can shoot up almost 20 degrees in 10 minutes. Doctors say a child can suffer heat-stroke when their body temperature goes over 104. Officers say bottom line, don't leave your kids in the car alone for any amount of time.
