COLUMBUS, Kan. (AP) -- Two more teens charged in an alleged school shooting plot in southeast Kansas will be tried as juveniles.
Judge Robert Fleming granted prosecutors' request to withdraw a motion to prosecute 17-year-old Robert Hunt, and 16-year-old James Tillman as adults.
Hunt will be under a 9 PM curfew, and his parents must know where he is at all times. Bond for Tillman is $50,000, and he'll be under house arrest if he makes bond.
Monday, the judge granted a similar request to try 16-year-old Caleb Byrd and 15-year-old Andrew Jaeger as juveniles. A fifth suspect, 18-year-old Charles New, is being tried as an adult.
The five were arrested April 20th after a message about an alleged plot to attack Riverton High School appeared on the Web.
