A 5 year old girl is recovering after she was hit by a car.

Owasso Police say the girl was riding her bike with a friend in an Owasso neighborhood. Witnesses say she was chasing her friend, and never saw the car coming for her.

Witness Bryan Edelman: "He hit her and she went probably 7 feet in the air, and did a couple flips and landed next to the side of the car."

Witnesses don't think the driver was speeding. The girl's head was bleeding and she had a concussion but no life threatening injuries.
