TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Mike McCoy goes 2-3 with four RBIs and hits a 3-run home run to lead the Springfield Cardinals to a 7-2 win over the Tulsa Drillers.
Juan Richardson gave Springfield a 1-0 lead in the first inning Saturday night with a RBI double, and McCoy's home run over the left-field fence off Tulsa starter Steven Register put the Cardinals ahead 4-0.
McCoy added a run-scoring single in the fifth to make it 5-0. Tulsa managed only single runs in the fifth and eighth innings.
Register allowed five runs in five innings. Springfield's Eric Haberer allowed one run and five hits in six innings to pick up the win.
Springfield has won four straight games.
