OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The New Orleans Hornets agree to terms with free-agent guard Bobby Jackson, the team's second pickup since the beginning of the NBA's free-agent signing period.

Jackson's agent, Andy Miller, says Jackson agreed to a multi-yeal deal with the Hornets yesterday but wouldn't disclose the terms.

The 6-foot-1 Jackson won the NBA's Sixth Man Award in 2003. He became a free agent after one season with the Memphis Grizzlies.

He made $3.375-million last season, the last in a six-year deal he signed with the Sacramento Kings in 2000. The Kings traded Jackson to Memphis last August.

He's the second free agent in as many days to announce his intentions to sign with the Hornets.

On Saturday, the Hornets confirmed they'd reached an agreement with three-time All-Star Peja Stojakovic, a 5-year deal worth $64-million.

NBA teams were allowed to begin negotiating with free agents Sunday but cannot officially sign players until July 12th.
