OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ An Oklahoma investment group says it has a tentative agreement to buy Frontier City and White Water Bay theme parks in Oklahoma City from Six Flags.
But a Six Flags spokeswoman says the parks have not been sold and bids are still being evaluated.
McAlester native Franklin Boyer and Oklahoma City businessman Ed Lynn say they reached a tentative deal with Six Flags and expect it to become final next week.
Meanwhile Six Flags spokeswoman Wendy Goldberg says the company has received multiple bids and expects to get more. She says the company would not comment on prospective bidders.
Six Flags put the theme parks up for sale in January.
