TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) _ The state of Oklahoma was well represented in the final Collegiate Baseball poll released Tuesday, one day after the end of the College World Series.
All three state NCAA Division One teams were ranked in the top 25, led by Oklahoma, which was 10th with a final record of 45-and-22. The Sooners fell one win shy of reaching the College World Series.
Oral Roberts, which also reached a super regional, was number 14. The Golden Eagles finished 41-and-16.
Oklahoma State checked in at number 23. The Cowboys fell twice to ORU in NCAA regional play, capping a 41-and-20 season.
The Collegiate Baseball rankings are compiled using voting by coaches, sports writers and sports information directors.
