TULSA, Okla. (AP) Christian Colonel's second home run of the season, a three-run shot in the fourth inning, provides all the scoring as the Tulsa Drillers beat the Midland RockHounds 3-0 in a Texas League baseball game.
Tulsa starter Ubaldo Jiminez allowed only one hit, walked three and struck out 10 batters in five innings Sunday. Three Tulsa relievers combined to allow the RockHounds only two more hits during the final four innings.
Manuel Corpas pitched a perfect ninth inning for the Drillers to record his 19th save of the season.
Midland starter Brad Knox allowed five hits in seven innings and struck out eight.
Knox walked Tulsa's Ian Stewart with one out in the fourth inning, and Jordan Gaetti followed with an infield single. Colonel then homered over the left-field fence at Drillers Stadium.
