TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- The Cherokee Nation's environmental services company has signed a $3-million dollar contract to monitor waste at several sites for the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Tulsa-based Cherokee CRC will monitor and report on potentially hazardous, toxic or radioactive waste Corps of Engineers sites including the former Clinton-Sherman Air Force Base at Burns Flat.
The contract is to last three years.
Cherokee CRC is a partnership between the Cherokee Nation and CRC and Associates.
