OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Tony Gwynn had two RBI's and Nashville pitchers combined for a seven-hit shutout as the Sounds beat the Oklahoma RedHawks 3-0 in Tennessee.
The Sounds grabbed a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third on Gwynn's bases-loaded two-run single to center off Oklahoma starter Nick Masset.
Nashville upped the advantage to 3-0 in the fourth when Zach Sorensen plated Nelson Cruz with a one-out RBI single to center.
Dennis Sarfate allowed five hits over seven scoreless innings, walking four and striking out six batters for Nashville . Alec Zumwalt allowed no hits to notch his fifth save of the year.
Masset pitched all eight innings, allowing three runs on seven hits.
