A Tulsa drug and alocohol recovery program is celebrating a quarter-century of service. 2006 marks the HOW Foundation's 25th anniversary. The non-profit group celebrated today with a barbeque luncheon and guest speakers.
The foundation operates on money made by doing community service work around town.
Scott McGinness, HOW Foundation Director: "The HOW Foundation is a long term recovery program for adult men with drug and alcohol problems. There's no charges or fees for men to come into or go through the program, but they are expected to work their way through, through our work services department."
The HOW Foundation has graduated more than 7000 men from its six-month recovery program since it opened in 1981.
