The new Linnaeus Teaching Garden at Woodward Park in Tulsa officially opened its doors to the public Thursday.
The garden was designed to be a green classroom, inspiring visitors to recreate its beauty in their own landscape. The garden is home to some of the newest plant species in the world.
It is named after Carl Linnaeus, who is internationally known as the father of botany.
