OKLAHOMA CITY(AP) -- Osage Nation Principal Chief Jim Gray has been re-elected to a four-year term.
Gray defeated four opponents by a majority vote.
John D. Red-Eagle is the tribe's new assistant principal chief with 57 percent of the vote.
The two will serve under the northeastern Oklahoma tribe's first constitution which was approved in March by voters. The tribe has gone without a constitution for over 100 years.
About 2,600 registered voters turned out for the tribal election Monday.
