A lot of Tulsa families are still dealing with problems caused by Tuesdayâ€™s thunderstorm.

Whether it's a lack of electricity, downed limbs or blocked streets. News on 6 reporter Emory Bryan says most of the streets are cleared, much of the power has been restored, but there are still a lot of downed trees to be cleaned up - and the damage stretches across midtown Tulsa.

While the damage was worse closer to Harvard - there was plenty of wind damage east of Yale almost to Sheridan - and from 11th Street down to about 25th Street. A lot of progress has been made in the last 24 hours to clear the streets.

Almost every home has a pile of limbs out front. Some of the damage won't be clear until the limbs are cleared away - especially off rooftops - and then insurance companies come in to assess the true cost of what happened.

Resident Harold Allee: "And the hail, the hail was loud, it sounded like someone dropping buckets of ice on my roof.â€

And this is the kind of damage that will take a while to calculate. The News on 6 only saw a couple of insurance companies on the scene Wednesday, but without a doubt more are coming.
