TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ A University of Tulsa football player who died April 28th was killed by what's sometimes called a ``flesh-eating'' bacteria.
The state medical examiner's office says Devin Adair died of complications of necrotizing fasciitis. The infection is rare and sometimes begins with flu-like symptoms.
Adair was hospitalized for a week before his death.
