An Owasso woman faces charges of shooting with intent to kill after a shooting and standoff. It happened on East 113th Street North near 129th East Avenue in Owasso Wednesday night.

Tulsa County Sheriff's investigators say 50-year-old Kathleen Adams and a man got into an argument over a lawnmower.

The man was shot in the shoulder and was hospitalized. Adams then hid inside a home. For three hours, officers urged her to come out. Some nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.

Just before 10 PM Wednesday, Adams gave up and was arrested.

Sheriff’s deputies say they've been called to the home before but wouldn't say why.
