CHICKASHA, Okla. (AP) -- A Chickasha police officer is facing a driving under the influence charge.
Police say officer Gregory Parks was arrested early Saturday after his car was seen weaving on the roadway.
Court documents say Parks registered a .20 and a .18 blood alcohol level on two breath tests after his arrest. Both are more than double the .08 legal limit.
Police Chief Lynn Williams says Parks has been with the Chickasha Police Department since 1998 and worked as a patrolman, detective and field training officer. He's a former police chief in North Enid and in New Mexico.
Parks is the second police officer to be arrested in Chickasha for DUI within two days.
Rush Springs reserve officer Ricky Start was arrested last Thursday and is now charged with DUI.
