OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A group opposing colleges that ban openly gay students are planning to visit two Oklahoma campuses.
The group Soulforce Equality Ride will rally March 20th outside the gates of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, then travel to Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee on March 23rd and 24th. The visits are part of a national tour that starts Friday in Virginia.
ORU says it won't let the group on campus, but leaders at OBU say the activists may speak informally with students if they don't hold any organized events or cause disruptions.
Neither private university plans to change its policies banning openly gay students.
