2 T. fat-free cream cheese spread 2 T. fruit preserves, any flavor 8 slices French bread, ½-inch thick 1/3 C. egg substitute 1/3 C. fat-free milk 2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon Butter-flavored cooking spray 2 T. powdered sugar
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and preserves. Spread mixture over 4 slices French bread. Top with remaining slices. In a medium bowl, combine egg substitute, milk, sugar, vanilla, butter flavoring and cinnamon. Dip each sandwich into egg mixture, coating both sides. Spray a large skillet with butter-flavored cooking spray. Place sandwiches in skillet over medium heat. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove to serving plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve immediately.
