Baked Onions

- Ingredients:
- 4 foil sheets (approximately 10 x 10-inches each)
Butter-flavored cooking spray
4 medium onion (sweet, white or yellow)
1/4 C. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
4 tsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper - Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. or gas grill to medium. Spray center of each foil sheet lightly with butter-flavored cooking spray. Set aside. Peel onions. Cut 1/2-inch slice from top of each onion and leave root end. Cut each onion from top into 8 wedges to within 1/2-inch of root end. Gently pull wedges apart. Place one onion on each foil square. Loosely shape foil around onion. Sprinkle onions with vinegar, Italian seasoning, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Wrap foil securely around onions. Bake in oven or on covered grill for 1 hour or until tender.
