13-Year-Old Girl's Leg Braces Stolen While Traveling Through Oklahoma
<p>The Medaris family said a suitcase was stolen during a stay at a hotel in McAlester. The family stopped there overnight Saturday before traveling home to St. Louis. Inside of the suitcase were leg braces that belonged to 13-year-old Chava, who has spina bifida. She hoped to wear the braces for her first day of school Monday, but instead will have to use a wheelchair until the family is able to replace them. </p>Sunday, August 11th 2019, 11:07 pm
