A Tulsa homeowner is warning others of a porch pirate after his package was taken off his front porch in a neighborhood near 51st and Sheridan. The homeowner said the package was taken within five minutes of being delivered. Hicham Attaki said he got a notification on Saturday morning his package was delivered. When he went to get it shortly after, he noticed it was gone. After checking his cameras he saw a woman walk onto his porch in broad daylight, grab the package and head to a waiting car.

Road Repair Project To Begin On 71st St Between Mingo, South Memorial

Starting Thursday, a large construction project will begin on 71st Street between Mingo and South Memorial that is expected to last until spring 2022. The $2.2 million project begins on Thursday as part of the “Improve Our Tulsa” initiative and is likely set to continue through next spring as the City of Tulsa works on replacing sections of concrete that are broken or cracked. Road work will begin on the Mingo side of 71st and move towards Memorial.
FEMA Funeral Program Inundated By 1 Million Calls At Launch

The federal government program designed to help cover funeral costs for people who have died of COVID-19 was inundated with more than 1 million calls on its launch day. The Federal Emergency Agency (FEMA) rolled out its hotline Monday, inviting Americans to apply for up to $9,000 per funeral and up to $35,500 per applicant to help with expenses related to coronavirus deaths occurring after January 20, 2020.
